It was the first operator to offer nationwide 4G service, ultra-high-speed fixed broadband, fixed voice and other services on the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (NGNBN) and continues to provide mobile and fixed services to over two million customers.

One such upcoming product is its 5G network. After receiving a 5G network licence from Infocomm Media Development Authority's (IMDA), M1 has worked with various partners to test 5G capabilities and efficiencies, including a collaboration with restaurant HaiDiLao, where M1’s 5G network enables its flagship smart restaurant to us smart machines to achieve an enhanced customer experience.
